Mascoteros es una startup fundada por Atresmedia y Antai Ventures en 2016. Como CEO, asumí el liderazgo de la empresa en una situación de cambio y ejecuté una transformación completa del modelo de negocio:
- definiendo una nueva propuesta de valor y modelo de negocio,
- realizando 3 rondas de financiación. Levantando más de €1,2m (incluyendo una de crowdfunding en Crowdcube),
- contratando nuevo talento y desarrollando valores y cultura organizacional (equipo de 12 personas),
- transformando digital y procesos desde un modelo marketplace hacia un modelo eCommerce,
- reestructurando financieramente la compañía y renegociando deudas con más de 200 acreedores (públicos, bancos, proveedores), logrando una reducción del 30% de la deuda y moviendo la mayor parte de la deuda del corto al largo plazo.
Ejecutando el nuevo modelo de negocio, logramos:
- mejorar el margen bruto en 6 puntos y reducir los gastos operativos en un 50%,
- firmar acuerdos comerciales con 25 marcas líderes en la industria,
- incorporar stock directo y capacidades logísticas,
- desarrollar prácticas ESG que tuvieron un impacto positivo en la sociedad y ayudaron a mejorar la vida de más de 700 animales en 6 meses,
- mejorar nuestra oferta lanzando servicios de televeterinaria (pioneros en retail España) y un programa de suscripción, alcanzando 300 suscriptores en un mes,
- utilizar la metodología de product design y lean startup para lanzar nuestras propias marcas (DNVBs), validando hipótesis a través de evidencias para anticipar riesgos,
- desarrollar, validar y registrar 3 nuevas marcas de comida natural para mascotas, cosméticos veganos y accesorios sostenibles.

I have been involved in each individual part of a project manager role: commercial assessment and business case, business requirements, project scope definition, design, team building and management, project development, customer relationship, training and project deployment.
Main achievements, projects and industries:
• IT Gateway Platform Migration (Insurance industry)
Program Manager for a core global migration, from legacy local Gateway IT infrastructure to a cloud-based solution: Apigee (Google APIs platform) and Kubernetes / CRP (Java integration developments).
Kicking-off the program from the inception phase to production: team building, governance, processes, agile and scrum transformation, etc.

• Cash Flow Forecast (Airline industry)
Developed an end-to-end Cash Flow Forecast automated tool that provided our client with a strong improvement on its cash management capabilities.

• Auto PSP Accounting and Reporting (Payment Service Provider) (Airline industry)
Process development, automation and reporting of information collected from the PSP providers allowing our client to link, within its information system, both its Sales and Collections at transaction level.

• Operational Scorecard Design (IT industry)
Helping Service Managers define critical KPIs and building a Scorecard Tool in Excel and Qlikview allowing them to connect both their operations and financials improving their decision-making capabilities and bringing their performance to the next level.

During my career as Project Manager/ Senior Consultant at Deloitte I have taken part of several more projects. In those, I have had experience as:
